Dorena School Family

August 29th, 2024 It is almost that time... for the first day of school! The floors are waxed and shiny, the carpets are cleaned, curriculum is fully stocked, class lists are made, we are ready for school to start. As we go into the 2024-2025 school year we have our focus on learning, we have set goals for reading, for math, for attendance, for behavior, and social emotional learning! Please join us for open house on September 5th at 5:30pm, see your student's classroom, peruse through the resource fair, and grab dinner for the whole family!  Announcements: Open house is 9/5 5:30-6:30pm, free dinner, you may drop off supplies that night or students can bring them on their first day.  Come to our resource fair during Open house we will have various resources from around the community, as well as an "Ask The Principal" booth where Mrs. Pixton will be stationed for all of your questions and to share some insights into our systems and our data.          ...
