  June 8th, 2026 We made it! This is officially our final update of the 2025-2026 school year. It has been a year filled with hard work, incredible student growth, and unforgettable memories. I am so proud of our students for how much they’ve achieved, and deeply grateful to our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly to support them every step of the way. Most of all, thank you to you —our families—for partnering with us this year. We couldn't do this without you. It has been an honor working with your children this year. Have a fantastic summer! Announcements: Spirit week the last week, students voted and these are the days! Monday- Pajama Day Tuesday- Twin Day Wednesday- Beach Day Thurs- Class Color Day Pre- Red K/1 Yellow 2nd/3rd Blue 4th/5th Black MS- Patterns We have 5th grade and 8th grade promotion Tuesday 6/9!  Dear Dorena Families, It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you—whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another wonderful year at Dorena School! I hope your summer was full of rest and fun, and that your family is feeling eager for the year ahead. We are truly honored that you entrust us with your children’s education and growth. Word is getting out about all the incredible things happening at Dorena! Thanks to our growing enrollment, we have capped classrooms this year while continuing to maintain a close-knit, supportive environment. We have an exciting year planned, packed with rigorous instruction in reading, math, and writing, high expectations for every student, a deep commitment to kindness and belonging, and—of course—plenty of fun!
