Weekly Newsletter 10/17/25

October 17th, 2025

We're looking forward to a busy and fun final week as October comes to a close!

Our monthly Attendance Challenge is wrapping up, and we've seen some big successes, especially in our 2nd/3rd grade classroom and with our 7th and 8th graders! Thank you for prioritizing being at school every day.

This week, we'll be celebrating our students' hard work with our first classroom pizza party! Classrooms have been working hard to earn points throughout the month for:

  • The best daily attendance

  • The most "Panther Pride" shown on Fridays

  • The fewest daily office referrals

  • The most good news referrals for the week

It's been wonderful to watch students focus on these positive behaviors.

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Announcements:
  • We had an awesome first week of our afterschool STEAM program, we have talked to students that attending STEAM is a privledge. Students must be in good attendance standing and have safe, respectful, and responsible behavior in order to be eligible to attend STEAM for that week.
  • We understand the swimming in Middle school is NOT as exciting as it is for our elementary students, but it takes place of our PE minutes for these two weeks which are required. We understand that students have special circumstances that might prohibit them from swimming for a day or two, but if a student needs to be excused from swimming for more than 3 days the school will need a doctor's note. Thank you for your understanding!
  • We are looking for volunteers to help with our October 31st PBIS celebration! We need someone to run our cotton candy machine, to run a game station, or a trick or treat station. Please let us know if you are interested. If you have not done so please fill out our
  • Students are allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school on Halloween, costumes must still adhere to school dress codes- no gore or blood, no profanity, no weapons. Students may wear a mask during recess and the PBIS event only.
  • We are in need of apples for our PBIS event, these apples will not be for eating or drinking but for chunking! They can be in any shape. if you have some or know of some we are willing to pick up and need them by Friday 10/31. Thank you!
  • We use ClassDojo for almost all of our school communication, if you need help setting up an account please let us know. We always put bus announcements on there, urgent announcements, weekly messages, and it is a good way to connect with school staff via the messaging component.
