Weekly Newsletter 12/5/25
December 5th, 2025
We have just 10 school days remaining until the Winter Break, and we are dedicated to making every one count!
As we wrap up the semester, your students will be working incredibly hard. Our classrooms will be focused on maximizing growth in reading, writing, and math, ensuring students are well-prepared as we approach the end of the year.
While the final weeks can be exciting, we know they can also feel busy. We encourage you to help your child finish strong by maintaining consistent routines and emphasizing daily attendance.
We will end this successful semester with some well-deserved celebrations, including our exciting Attendance Challenge and Pizza Party during the last week!
Thank you for your continued partnership. Let's make these final days positive and productive for every student!
We are gearing up for our Holiday Student Store, every year students save up their Panther Pride tickets to exchange for gifts for their family members for the holidays. We are looking for new or gently used items to add to our store. We are also in need of paper or gift bags. Thank you!
We have 2 weeks left in our Attendance challenge and so far 4th/5th is in the lead! Every day that a class only has one student absent and/or one student tardy the class earns a point. The class with the most points by the morning of December 19th will win a gingerbread house making party!
Our school is being honored as a Promising Practices School by Solution Tree's Evidence of Effectiveness Committee. This is a nationally recognized award that means that we are laying a strong foundation for becoming a Model PLC school based on our Focus on Learning, use of data to make decisions, and collaborative culture.
- It is time for Feedback! Every year, our district collects data from our families regarding our school. We have had the HIGHEST PERCENTAGE of family participation for the past 2 years, let's keep it up! It takes about 15 minutes and the data is EXTREMELY helpful to improving our school. The district reviews it, Mrs. Pixton reviews all of it, and our staff reviews it to make changes.
