  March 21st, 2025 Spring break is here, whether you're off to explore new places, binge your favorite shows, or simply catch up on some much-needed, we hope you make the most of this well-deserved pause. As you enjoy this time together, please stay safe, soak up some fun, and remember, a good book is your friend (or maybe a nap!)  We are so impressed with everyone's attendance this month! Thank you to all of you for helping to get your kids to school every on time, we saw a big difference! Let's keep the momentum up for the rest of the year!  Looking forward to seeing everyone back, rested, recharged, and ready for more adventures at school.   March 14th, 2025 We have made it to the final stretch before spring break! We know everyone is feeling a bit like their batteries are running low, but this is when we pull together. I have been so impressed with our attendance lately, thank you all for helping to get your kids to school on time every day!  Your kids have worked so hard, and we're committed to keeping momentum going this week. We promise to keep them engaged, learning, and of course having some fun!  Thank you for your continued support, your patience, and maybe a few extra bedtime reminders to help everyone show up ready for these last few days. The light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train--- it's spring break! Let's do this!  Announcements: PBIS Theme: Social Skills  Goals:  I can be a whole-body listener when others are speaking. From morning routines To love that you show, Your care plants the seeds That help students grow. You cheer every step, You guide every way, Building a future With each passing day. On this Valentine’s Day, We just want to say: Thank you, dear families, For all you portray. ❤️ Announcements: PBIS Theme: Emotional Regulation Goals:  I can recognize when I'm feeling upset and use my words or tools to calm down/regulate.  I can pause and think before I speak or act, even when I am excited or upset, and make an appropriate choice.  We are changing the time for our Wednesday afterschool STEM/Robotics club from 12:30-3:15 to 12:30-2:30pm, ALL students will need to be picked up by 2:30pm!  Our First Family Night of the year is coming up this Friday 2/21! Come see your student's art, join us for a spaghetti dinner, and fun door prizes!  2/21 will be the 100th day...

  February 5th, 2025 First week of February and it started off with a bang! From starting self-managers, to our new attendance challenge, and SNOW! We are so proud of our Dorena families. With all of the sudden changes with transportation and navigating all of that this week, you all ROCKED it!
