  April 11th, 2025 This week was a special week as we had the opportunity to share our Dorena Proud message with three different groups, CGHS, Chamber Music Amici, and Marcola Elementary.  Each group couldn’t stop commenting on the incredible feel of our school and how amazing it truly is. This pride we feel comes from the strong partnership between our staff, students, and families. It’s heartwarming to see our kids embody the values of Dorena Proud every day—values rooted in the care and support they receive both at school and at home. Thank you for being an integral part of what makes Dorena such a wonderful and inspiring community. Together, we’re building something extraordinary for our kids. Weekly Newsletter 4/4/25

  April 4th, 2025 We hit the ground running this week with a mix of learning and fun! Our Attendance Challenge winners celebrated with a trip to Defy Trampoline Park, our 8th graders got a sneak peek at high school during their visit, and classrooms were buzzing with focused learning. We’re now in the “fast forward” part of the school year—State Testing is coming up, we’re diving deep into essential learning to make sure every student is ready for the next grade, and we’ve got tons of celebrations and activities coming up. Thanks for your continued support, and we hope everyone has a great weekend!
