Weekly Newsletter 9/27/24
September 27th, 2024
I can't believe we are entering our 4 week of school. This week we are in full day schedules for our kindergarteners. We are working on what we call the "productive struggle" with all of our students, this means working through challenges or difficulties in a way that promotes learning and growth. It is when a kiddo encounters a problem or task that is just beyond their current abilities but is still attainable with effort, persistence, and critical thinking. The productive struggle help build resilience, deep understanding, and problem-solving skills. And we encourage it because it leads to meaningful learning rather than just giving students easy answers.
