- Our SLSD paid a visit to our school this week and were extremely impressed with the emphasis on academics, the creativeness in which we support kids, and the love and care we have here at Dorena ❤️

- We have decided since we are focusing so much on attendance this year that our Monthly Donuts and Dodgeball privilege will be for students who have attended 93% or more of that month and who have no more than 5 behavioral referrals.
- We will be using Class Dojo for all of our communication this year, if you haven't already please sign up using this link.
- Transportation is using a new link for all of your bussing needs. Sign up here
- We need updated permission forms for students who take medication at school, please fill out this form, or stop by we have copies in the office.
Data
- Per the latest School Board Report "With regard to enrollment this school year, McCasline reported that as of Monday night, the District had 2,205 students enrolled, a larger figure than last year. McCasline pointed out growth at Dorena School that he attributed to the gains the school has recently made academically. Dorena topped 100 students enrolled for the first time in several years."
